We have a great knowledge base where you can learn everything you need to know about the Avanlee App in easy steps, but we also wanted to take a moment to chat about some of the amazing features in the Avanlee App.
The Details You Should Know
No matter if you’re adding meds or adding events, it’s never been easier to manage your schedule in the calendar! When you open the module, you’ll get a month’s glance at what’s going on for you and your care hub.
Did you know that you can scan your prescription’s NDC code (it looks like a QR code on your pill bottle), search by medication name, or you can even manually create your own medication if the search doesn’t find your medication? After you’ve searched for your medication, you can customize it to look exactly like your medication, down to color, shape, or even imprint by clicking on the gear cog on the pill below the medication name. You can customize color, shape, or pill characteristics if you’d like (or if you can’t find your medication, you can manually create it here).
Finally, you can set the recurrence schedule (is this a one-time medication, or does it repeat twice a day every day or does it have a different schedule?), and set reminders. You can mark if the medication has been taken at scheduled times by navigating to the calendar, so you can stay on top of medication adherence more easily.

When you search for your medication, you’ll see information from CostPlus Drugs with lower cost options for your regular medications! Cost Plus Drugs foregoes pharmacy benefit managers and regular markups and has a straightforward pricing model to get you the best medications at the best cost. As a result, there are many medications available at prices that are lower than at your local or even corporate pharmacy. This is a totally optional feature that the app has to give you the ability to price check and make sure you keep more of your hard-earned money in your pocket.
